Review of Chapter 2 - biography of John Mason and Sarah Peck

In Chapter 2 of our forthcoming book - John Mason and Sarah Paine Peck: Missionaries Extraordinaire - John and Sarah adopt Baptist principles and were baptized in September 1811. The scene took place at Crystal Lake (the "Romantic Dell") pictured below. Peck reflected, "The day was remarkably pleasant, and a large concourse of people assembled to witness the baptisms. The countenances of all wore a solemn aspect, and the utmost regularity and good order was observed by every individual present."
