We thought it beneficial to conclude this volume of A Noble Company Americans with a few brief sketches on some other deceased worthies, who were known among the various groups of Baptists that held to sovereign grace in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. . . .Even those who we have recorded here. . .would have likely objected to being acknowledged in this simple way; yet we desire to give honor to whom honor is due (Rom. 13:7) and trust the reader will forgive the publishers for recording so few among the many who we will not know until we meet in eternity. --Terry Wolever
