Volume I Contains the complete 'Biographical Memoirs of John Gano' that have been out of print since 1806. These 'memoirs' are about 100 pages of a 450 page book full of important, well documented history.

Gano pastored the First Baptist Church of New York, which disbanned when the British occupied the city. He also served the Continental army as a chaplin and is reported to have baptized General Washington in the Potomac River, this full account will be in the forthcoming Vol II.
